Our club has anywhere from 5-10 junior members at a time that come to the shop to make lapidary items or cabochons. Every year at our show, we encourage our junior members to put in a case to display what they have made over the past year. We also have members that attend local schools (Elementary - High School) to give educational talks on geology and lapidary.

If your under the age of 11 please have your parent or guardian contact the club to speak to our current Junior Mentor. Kids under the age of 11 are accepted at the discretion of the mentor with the adult/guardian completing the first cabochon before their child joins. The parent can then assist their child in the cabochon process.
